    So...I have finally resurrected xanga...we'll see if I can keep up :D  This summer was pretty much the most incredible time of my life so far. I worked for the first 2 months, (May and June) and at the end of June I started traveling... A group from my church went to Ounaminthe, Haiti to minister in a school there. If anyone is familar with CVCA, its the school where they have been traveling to for the past 15 years. Institute Univers. We really h ad no clue what we were going to do other than help at the school and maybe over at the Holleys new house (the former headmaster of CVCA and his family are members of our church and they are now in Haiti administrating the school)

    I ended up teaching English to 1-6th grade kids...it was a leap of faith considering that i have no experiance whatsoever in teaching, no curriculum, no books, just a translator and 100 kids! The other team members either guided a grade from activitiy to activity, taught Highschool English, music and craft stuff. The most fun was the afternoons when we played outside the entire time. We played soccer (Futbol) endless hand-clap games, jump rope, a card game called Kiyo that i never really learned....and just had fun! I am finally trying to put all my thoughts into writing, which may take a long tine, alot of journal re-reading, and endless xanga posts ;D

    Thanks for all those who have been listening to me lately as I try to process my experiances, and most importantly to see where I end up. I feel that God is leading me in a completely different direction from the time I last posted ;D and i am very excited about this new journey.

    Wow....a whole month since i posted last. I'm really not good on keeping up on things if you can't tell ;)  Spring break was cool, I didnt get to go down to New Orleans with everybody from CF, but I did go riding, and FINALLY got a job!! YAY!!! lol. I will be working at Suncrest Gardens, a garden center really close to my house.  I have also been ironing out my summer plans (tricky indeed) and it all seems to be working out so far.

    I have to take a class all the way down in Orville, at UA's Wayne College, and because of the distance, nights I have class I will stay with my grandma, which is really cool, since I dont see her that much. The coolest thing for me this summer will be my trip to Haiti! A group from NUMC (my home church) will be heading to Haiti June 30-July 8th. It will be SO amazing. (more to come on that) Also, my family will be heading back to Seattle for vacation, because we all fell in love with the place 2 years ago.

    ~~~ Sidebar~~~
    I really am glad to finally be making some more connections with people at school and in CF....its really neat to have people that can hang out and have  "meaningful conversations" (:-p)
